Over the next few weeks, you may notice our profile names on Facebook and Instagram change from ‘Start Playing Stay Playing’ to 'Join the Movement' – but don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere.
‘Start Playing Stay Playing’ is a broader initiative from the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing that encompasses a wide range of activities, from Funding Programs to Excellence Awards. 'Join the Movement' is a part of ‘Start Playing Stay Playing’, but over the past year it has grown to be its own community with its own identity. This is why we’re changing our name on social media, so that when people attend our events across Queensland or view our advertising campaigns, they can easily “Join The Movement” online by finding and joining our community that is visible under the same name.
